Avocado Paratha


 Avocado paratha is easy to make and the creaminess of avocado keep the paratha soft.

Avocado paratha



Yield:  8 paratha.

Ingredients:

  • Avocado - 1
  • Whole wheat flour - 1 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Jeera / cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic - 2 tsp, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • Oil - 1tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp

 Preparation:

  • Peel the Avocados and mash the flesh to a smooth paste.
  • Mix in Lemon Juice, Salt, Garlic, Red chilli powder, Cilantro, Cumin Powder & Oil and Combine.
  • Now add wheat flour to the avocado mixture and mix well. Add water if necessary to make a dough.
  • Drizzle a few drops of Oil over the dough to coat. Cover and allow the dough to rest for 15-20 minutes.
  • Once you are ready to make the parathas, give the dough one more quick knead.
  • Heat up a tawa on medium heat and divide the dough and make balls .
  • Dip in additional dry flour and start rolling with a rolling pin using Flour to dust.
  • Once the Paratha is rolled out and the tawa is hot, place it on the tawa.
  • Allow it to cook on both sides.
