This cauliflower-Broccoli salad will be a great side for any flavored rice or bread or any Indian bread. My hubby don't like the smell of cauliflower. I know he will say no to the recipe made with cauliflower, but I want to give a try to this salad. To my wonder he liked it very much.
Serves - 2
Total Time : 12 minutes
Ingredients:
- Cauliflower Florets - 1 cup
- Broccoli Florets - 1 cup
- Small Onion - 1, chopped
- Lettuce - 1/2 cup (optional)
- Lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- Pepper - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Clean cauliflower and broccoli florets and cook them in a pot of water for about 10 minutes.(We can also roast cauliflower).
- In a salad bowl mix lemon juice, pepper powder and salt.
- Add cooked cauliflower, broccoli, onion and lettuce and toss.
- Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for later use.
