Easy Peanut Chutney

                          This chutney is very easy to prepare, but tastes great. When we are in a hurry and want to prepare chutney we can make this chutney as it is a great complimentary for any tiffin recipe.

Serves: 4


  • 1/2 cup Peanuts 
  • 1 tsp Cumin/ Jeera
  • 1 tsp Channa dal
  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • 5 Green Chillies
  • 2 Garlic pods
  • Small marble size Tamarind
  • 2 tsp Oil
For Tempering:
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds/ Avvalu
  • 1/2 tsp uard dal
  • 1/2 Channa dal
  • 1 Red Chilli
  • 5-6 Curry leaves


  • In a pan, heat oil, add Garlic pods, Channa dal, Urad dal, peanuts, chillies . Roast them on a slow flame.
  • Grind the roasted ingredients along with tamarind and salt, adding water to get the runny consistence.
  • In the same pan, heat oil, add the ingredients under temper.
  • Add the tempering to the chutney.
